Privacy Policy

The short version. The app has no accounts and no server of its own. Your affirmations, favourites, reminders and streak are stored on your device and are never sent to us. We cannot read them, because they never leave your phone.
What is stored on your device
All of the following stays in the app's private storage on your phone, and is deleted when you delete the app:
- The affirmation library, which ships inside the app itself.
- Your favourites, collections and reading history.
- Any affirmations you write yourself.
- Your streak and daily progress.
- Your settings: name, chosen theme, app icon, reminder times and topics.
- The answers you give during setup, which are used to pick your starting topics and reminder times.
The name you enter is used only to personalise the text shown to you. It is never transmitted.
What leaves your device
The core of the app works with the network switched off — the whole library is already on your phone. Three things reach the outside world, and each is limited:
Purchases
If you buy a subscription or lifetime access, the purchase is handled by Apple (or Google Play on Android) and by RevenueCat, which we use to check whether a purchase is active. We never see or store your card details.
For that check to work, RevenueCat receives a purchase receipt and an anonymous, app-specific identifier for your device. It does not receive your name, your affirmations, or anything else from the app. RevenueCat's own privacy policy is at revenuecat.com/privacy.
Links you tap
Some settings open your browser or the App Store — for example this policy, or the page for managing your subscription. Once you follow a link, the site you land on applies its own policy.
Notifications
Reminders are scheduled locally by your phone. The text is drawn from the library already on the device. No notification is sent from a server, and we are not told whether you opened one.
Widgets
The Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets read the current affirmation from the app's own storage on the device. Nothing about a widget is transmitted.
Analytics
The app contains no advertising and no cross-app tracking. It does use PostHog to understand how the app is used, so we can see which parts are confusing and fix them.
What is recorded is limited to how the app is used: that a screen was reached, that setup was finished, that the subscription screen was opened. Events carry an anonymous identifier for the install, plus the general preferences you chose during setup — the sort of thing you are looking for and roughly when you want reminders.
Your affirmations, your name, anything you write and your favourites are never included. Those stay on your device.
You can switch this off at any time under Settings → Marketing & analytics. Turning it off stops collection immediately, including anything not yet sent. PostHog's own privacy policy is at posthog.com/privacy.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Since the app collects no personal information at all, there is nothing about a child for us to hold.
Your rights over your data
Because your data stays on your device, you control it directly. You can clear your history from within the app, and deleting the app removes everything it stored. As we hold no personal data about you, there is no account for us to export or erase — but if you have a question about this, write to us.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Material changes will be noted in the app before they take effect.
