This app is not health care. The affirmations are written for general wellbeing and are not medical, psychological or therapeutic advice. They do not diagnose or treat anything, and they are not a substitute for a doctor, a therapist or prescribed treatment. If you are struggling, please speak to a qualified professional. If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services.
Agreement
By installing or using Daily Affirmations ("the app") you agree to these terms. If you disagree with any part of them, please stop using the app and remove it from your device.
Licence
You are granted a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. You may not copy, resell, redistribute or reverse-engineer the app or its content, except where local law expressly permits it.
Content
The affirmation library, artwork, themes and text in the app belong to us and are protected by copyright. Affirmations you write yourself remain yours; they are stored only on your device, and we make no claim to them.
Subscriptions and purchases
- Some features require a paid subscription or a one-off purchase. Prices are shown in the app before you buy, in your local currency.
- Payment is taken by Apple or Google at confirmation of purchase. We never receive or hold your payment details.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
- You can manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings at any time. Deleting the app does not cancel it.
- If a free trial is offered, any unused part of it is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies, not by us.
Notifications
If you enable reminders, the app schedules notifications on your device at the times you choose. You can change or switch them off in the app, or in your phone's system settings.
Acceptable use
Please do not use the app unlawfully, attempt to circumvent its paid features, or interfere with its operation or security.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep the app working and improving, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or free of faults. Features may be added, changed or removed over time. The app requires a supported version of iOS or Android.
Disclaimer and liability
The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. You may also have consumer rights under the law of your country that these terms do not affect.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
