DartScore keeps your games on your device. From version 1.1 it sends a small amount of anonymous usage data to our own analytics service, and purchases go through RevenueCat. None of it is linked to you, and none of it is used for tracking or sold.
This policy lists exactly what leaves the device, who receives it and why.
What stays on your device
Game results, player names you type, statistics, achievements, experience points and your preferences (language, appearance) are stored on your own device. They are never uploaded. Games scored on Apple Watch are sent to your paired iPhone through Apple’s WatchConnectivity and stay there.
Deleting the app deletes all of it. There is no copy anywhere else, which also means we cannot restore it for you.
Anonymous usage data (Plumb)
Plumb is an analytics service we run ourselves. The app sends it events such as “onboarding screen shown”, “game started (X01, 2 players)” or “paywall closed”. Each event carries:
- a random install ID created by the app (not your Apple Account, not the advertising identifier),
- the anonymous purchase ID RevenueCat assigns (see below), so we can tell whether a purchase came from this install,
- app version, iOS version, device model, language and the country from your device’s region setting,
- counts, durations and fixed option IDs, and short error codes when something fails.
It never contains player names, anything you type, your game scores, your location or your IP-based city. Data Types in Apple’s privacy label: Product Interaction, Device ID, User ID, Other Diagnostic Data, all not linked to you and not used for tracking.
Purchases (RevenueCat)
DartScore offers an optional Pro unlock: a one-time Lifetime purchase or a Monthly subscription with a free trial. Payment is handled by Apple. To check whether Pro is active we use RevenueCat, which receives the App Store receipt for your purchases and an anonymous ID it creates. RevenueCat tells our analytics when a purchase, trial, renewal, cancellation or refund happens, using that same anonymous ID. We never see your name, email, payment details or Apple Account.
Data Type in Apple’s privacy label: Purchase History, not linked to you, not used for tracking. Apple’s own handling of your purchase is covered by Apple’s Privacy Policy.
Tracking
DartScore does not track you. It has no advertising identifier, no ad networks, no fingerprinting and no cross-app or cross-site measurement. Data is not sold or shared with data brokers. You will not see an App Tracking Transparency prompt, because there is nothing to ask about.
Sharing
If you tap Share on a result, iOS hands the image to whichever app you pick. Nothing is shared unless you ask for it.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, they are scheduled locally on your device: challenge reminders, and a reminder two days before a free trial ends. No push server is involved. You can turn them off in iOS Settings at any time.
Children
DartScore is rated 4+. It has no user accounts, no chat, no user-generated content and no advertising.
Your rights and deletion
The data above is not linked to your name or email. For deletion requests or questions about it, email kalitaventures@gmail.com. Deleting the app stops all collection.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is posted here with a new date, and the App Store privacy label is updated before the release ships.
