These terms apply to the SkipCount app for iPhone and iPad. By installing or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
SkipCount counts jump rope skips using the camera and on-device motion analysis, and keeps a history of your sessions. Counting depends on lighting, distance from the camera and how you move, and it may occasionally miss or over-count a jump. The numbers are for your own motivation and record; they are not medical or professional fitness measurements.
Jumping rope is vigorous exercise. Check with a doctor before starting a new exercise programme if you have any condition that could be affected by it, and stop if you feel unwell. You use the app and exercise at your own risk. Make sure you have enough clear space around you and that your device is propped up safely.
Some features require SkipCount Pro, available as an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly) or as a one-time lifetime purchase. All purchases are made through Apple and are subject to Apple's terms. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
Your workouts and settings are stored on your device only. They are not backed up by us, and we cannot recover them if you delete the app or lose the device. See the privacy policy for details.
You may use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer or redistribute the app or any part of it.
The app is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the app, including inaccurate counts or lost data.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
